Jobbook privacy policy

Who this policy covers

This privacy policy describes Jobbook for Android, version 0.2, provided by LIFTECH LLC. Privacy questions can be sent to admin@liftech.site. It also explains visits to these Jobbook web pages and information you choose to send to support.

This policy describes the current app behavior; it will be updated when that behavior changes.

Information you enter in the app

You may enter business and client names, contact details, appointment details, notes, tasks, materials, service descriptions and rates, quotes, manually recorded payments, and follow-up reminders. Saved toolkit favorites and appearance preferences are also stored locally.

Jobbook uses these records to organize your work on your device. Only a client name is required to create a client. The app does not read your device address book or automatically upload your workspace to LIFTECH.

Photos and device permissions

When you choose a photo through the system picker, Jobbook copies it into private app storage for the selected job. It does not request gallery-wide, camera, location, or contacts permission. Your chosen picker or cloud provider may have its own data practices.

Notifications are optional and off by default. If enabled, Jobbook schedules local job and follow-up reminders. Android may request notification permission. Reminder delivery is approximate and subject to device settings. No notification data is sent to a LIFTECH server.

When information leaves your device

Sharing a quote PDF, message, or backup is an action you initiate. The external app, recipient, or document provider you choose receives the selected content and may store or upload it under its own policies. Dial and email buttons open your device’s dialer or mail app with the chosen contact; Jobbook does not automatically place a call or send an email.

The current app has no account system, remote backend, advertising, analytics, session replay, billing service, or internet permission. LIFTECH does not receive your local workspace through the app, and does not sell that workspace data.

Storage, security, and deletion

Business records and copied photos are kept in app-private device storage until you edit or remove them, replace your workspace, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall. Android automatic cloud backup and device transfer are excluded by the app’s configuration. Jobbook adds no separate app lock or encryption to exported backups; protect your device and exported files.

Deleting a job or removing a photo removes its reference from the workspace and later backups. Unreferenced photo files can remain in private storage until app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Clients linked to jobs, quotes, or follow-ups must have those records handled before client deletion.

Quote PDFs are cached locally. Cached PDFs older than seven days are removed when another PDF is generated. Exported backups and shared documents are separate copies and are not deleted by removing the app. You must manage those copies with the selected provider or recipient.

There is no Jobbook account to delete. LIFTECH cannot recover or remotely erase your local workspace. See data deletion guidance.

Contacting support and visiting the website

If you email LIFTECH, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send. We use them to respond to your request. Email providers process and retain messages under their own policies. Send only information needed for your question, and avoid sending client details, payment information, or full backups unless necessary.

Support correspondence is kept while needed to handle your request and any applicable recordkeeping obligations. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of correspondence, contact us at the email above. Available rights and lawful retention depend on applicable law; we may need enough information to identify your request.

These web pages are hosted on Vercel. Website delivery and security can involve technical request data such as IP address, browser information, and requested URLs. The site uses self-hosted fonts and images; it adds no advertising, analytics, session replay, newsletter, or app account. Hosting-provider practices are described in Vercel’s privacy notice. Website request data is separate from your local Jobbook workspace.

Audience and policy changes

Jobbook is intended for adults managing service-business work and is not directed to children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information to LIFTECH support.

If this policy changes, the revised text and date will appear here. Review the policy for the version you use, especially if new connected features are introduced.
